The Henderson Municipal Court is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of Municipal Court Marshal! All candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network to be considered further in the hiring process.
The department requires the candidate Work Attitudes Questionnaire (WAQ). You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the WAQ as soon as possible so there is not a delay in your process.
Salary Information: $29.176-$36.838/40 hour work week

Department Overview: The City of Henderson Municipal Court Marshal Service has an established history of over 20 years providing public safety and security to visitors of the Henderson Municipal Court. The Marshal service is comprised of 15 full time Marshals that perform law enforcement functions associated with the operations of the Henderson Municipal Court. Functions include the protection of individuals accessing the Court, building perimeter protection/security, courtroom security/functions and field services; and performs related duties as required.

Academy Certification: Must have completed Nevada Peace Officer Standard Training (P.O.S.T.) Academy.
Prior Experience: One (1) year of experience as a full-time commissioned law enforcement officer, excluding Law Enforcement Academy Training time.
Necessary Certifications: Nevada Peace Officer Standard Training (P.O.S.T.) Category II certificate at the time of application, Category I certificate is preferred
Additional Requirements: According to NAC 289.110: A person may not be appointed to perform duties of a peace officer if he or she has: been convicted of a felony in this state or of any offense which would be a felony if committed in this State; been convicted of an offense involving moral turpitude or the unlawful use, sale or possession of a controlled substance; or a documented history of physical violence
