Job Description: Firefighter/EMT
The Holley-Navarre Fire District is currently building an eligibility list for future Firefighter/EMT positions. FireTEAM and a valid CPAT are required for this position.

Salary Information: $11.44/hr ($34,500/annually) 24/48 shift schedule. 56 hour average work week. 2.5% annual longevity pay raises.
Benefit Information: - 100% employee health, dental and vision costs paid by the district- 50% family health, dental and vision costs paid by the district- Pension Plan IAW Florida Statue 175 with 3% multiplier and COLA- Very generous PTO accrual rates and usage policy

Department Overview: The Holley-Navarre Fire District is a young, growing, progressive all hazards fire department located in coastal northwest Florida. We are the busiest fire department in Santa Rosa County answering over 3,200 calls for service in 2017. We provide fire suppression, EMS first response, HAZMAT reponse, fire prevention, training and community outreach services to name a few. We are looking for motivated individuals who want to help continue our push for fire service excellence.
Area Information: Navarre/Santa Rosa County, FL/Nestled between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach, Navarre offers some of the best beaches and outdoor opportunities in the State. Age: 18
Citizenship Required: Required
High School Grad/GED: Required
Valid FLORIDA Driver's License: Required
Ability to Read/Speak English: Required
Vision: Candidates must successfully pass the district's NFPA 1582 pre-employment physical.
Prior Experience: Preferred
Necessary Certifications:
Schooling Prior & Post Hiring: Once hired candidates must complete a 40 hour orientation training period.
