The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is currently building an ongoing eligibility list.
The department requires the completion of the Frontline National exam as well as the NTN Work Attitude Questionaire (WAQ).
Salary Information: For 2020, base salary range from $4,904 (Step 1) to $6,039 (Step 7), yearly step increase to year seven, education incentive, longevity, and specialty pay depending on assignment. A Lateral applicant will be placed at a salary step commensurate with his/her qualifications and experience.
Benefits Information: For 2020, the Employer contributes $2111.20 toward medical, dental, vision plan premiums. Employee pays $90.18. Paid vacation and sick time, eleven paid holidays, VEBA account, deferred comp available.
** Employee salary and benefits are established through a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Agency Information: The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is a professional and progressive full-service law enforcement agency for the unincorporated region of Lewis County. The agency is organized into three Bureaus: Operations, Corrections, and Services that are overseen by the Sheriff’s Administrative Staff. Prior Experience: We will send you to training at the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission.
