The Lewis County Sheriff's Office is currently building an ongoing eligibility list.
The agency requires the completion of the Frontline National exam as well as the NTN Public Safety Self Assessments (PSSA).
Salary Information: For 2022, base salary range from $5,338 (Step 1) to $6,535 (Step 7), yearly step increase to year seven, education incentive, longevity, and specialty pay depending on assignment. A Lateral applicant will be placed at a salary step commensurate with his/her qualifications and experience.
Benefits Information: For 2022, the Employer contributes $2,414.67 per month toward medical, dental, vision plan premiums. Employee pays $105.39 per month. Paid vacation and sick time, paid holidays, VEBA account, deferred comp available.
** Employee salary and benefits are established through a Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Agency Information: The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is a professional and progressive full-service law enforcement agency for the unincorporated region of Lewis County. The agency is organized into three Bureaus: Operations, Corrections, and Services that are overseen by the Sheriff’s Administrative Staff.
