Job Overview: Deputy Sheriffs are assigned to our patrol division. The Patrol Division is responsible for responding to calls for service, citizen’s complaints, traffic enforcement, as well as, providing services to supplement the law enforcement operations of the agency. The Deputy Sheriff is under the direction and supervision of their respective Shift Supervisor and the Commander of the Patrol Division and is in a classified position.

Job Requirements

High School Grad/GED: Yes

Academy Certification: Ohio Peace Officer’s Training Academy certification

Rules of Court for Common Pleas, Probate and Juvenile Court, and Municipal Court
Departmental policies and procedures
