The Reno Police Department is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer Recruit! All candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network to be considered further in the hiring process.
*Winter 2022 Academy Update*The Reno Police Department is preparing for a Winter 2022 Academy, anticipated to begin in January. According to their schedule, Civil Service will be pulling all applications received by 11:59 p.m. on November 7, 2021. Candidates must have completed an application with all required documentation and have completed the NTN Law Enforcement test with a passing score in order to be considered further in this round of the hiring process. All applications received after 11:59 PM on November 7, 2021, will be considered for future hiring opportunities. Please check back for updates as they are posted.

Hiring Process: Candidates must take and pass the National Testing Network Law Enforcement test and then submit a completed application at www.reno.gov/jobs.
Accepted candidates will be required to take and pass the NV POST Physical Fitness Test prior to being eligible for hire.
