Job Classification: Police Officer
The Springfield Township Police Department is seeking to fulfill immediate openings for the position of Police Officer.
Candidates that do not qualify for lateral entry, must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network, as well as complete the department application, located here. The Springfield Township Police Department will continue to accept applications until all available positions have been filled. Applications must be submitted thru your NTN Candidate portal.
The department requires the candidate to complete the PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the PHQ as soon as possible so there is not a delay in your process.
Lateral candidates that are currently employed as full-time police officers, with at least one year of continuous service, are not required to take the FrontLine National exam. Applicants who meet the criteria for exemption from the written examination phase must complete and submit an application. Department Overview: Springfield Township Police Department handles over 27,000 calls for service each year. The agency is comprised of Road Patrol, Criminal Investigators, IMPACT Unit, School Resources Officers, K9 Officers, as well as a local and federal Narcotics Investigators. Road patrol officers work a 12 hour schedule and are eligible for specialized assignments after three years.
