Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District is building an ongoing eligibility list for Firefighter/Paramedic.
Salary Information: $43,560 - $64,357 annually for Paramedic
Department Overview: The Pinellas Suncoast Fire & Rescue District is an Independent Special Fire District located on the west side of Pinellas County, headquartered in Indian Rocks Beach. PSFRD provides fire suppression and advanced life support out of three (3) fire stations in a 13 square mile area. PSFRD serves Indian Rocks Beach, Indian Shores, Belleair Beach, Belleair Shore, and the unincorporated Oakhurst area of the mainland. PSFRD firefighters work a 24/48 shift schedule with a relief day every seventh shift.

Specific Disqualifiers/Behaviors: Felony, Criminal Activity Disqualifiers: Conviction or no contest plea to any felony.
Driving Disqualifiers: Three (3) moving violations within the past 24 months.
Additional Disqualifiers: Deception or omission of information throughout the process.
Overview of Position: Full-time firefighter and medical practitioner whose responsibilities include basic life support or advanced life support (as appropriate), working as a member of a team in search and rescue operations at the scene of a fire, and working as a member of a combat team in the prevention of fire damage and protection of life and property by combating, extinguishing, and preventing fires.
