Department Overview: The Nogales Fire Department serves a population of approximately 20,000 people covering an area of 21 square miles. The department responds to an estimated 3,000 calls for services each year from the two fire stations. The organization operates under an “all hazards” model and provides fire protection, emergency medical services, community risk reduction, hazardous materials and technical rescue response to the citizens of Nogales and its visitors.
