The City of Champaign Police Department is currently building an eligibility list for Entry-Level Police Officer.
Candidates for testing and for appointment as an Entry-Level Police Officer must apply by the following recruitment deadlines. The fourth recruitment deadline is June 17th, 2021.

US Citizen: Yes. Be a U.S. Citizen or legally authorized to work in the U.S. (meet the Department of Homeland Security Employment Eligibility requirements at the time of hire).

Drivers License: Yes. Proof of a valid Driver's License.
Criminal Disqualifiers: Some convictions, misdemeanors or serious traffic offenses may disqualify applicants from further consideration if there is a substantial relationship between the criminal history and the position of Entry Level Police Officer.
