Job Classification: Police Dispatcher Trainee
The Simi Valley Police Department is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Dispatcher Trainee! All candidates must complete the department application, located here, as well as take the ECOMM National exam through National Testing Network to be considered further in the hiring process.
The department requires the candidate Public Safety Self-Assessment (PSSA). You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. NTN suggests completing the PSSA as soon as possible so there is not a delay in your process.

Salary Information: $22.50 per hour; $25.43 - $32.45 when promoted to Police Dispatcher

Additional Requirements: This position requires shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays. Dispatchers may also be required to work mandated overtime. Shifts rotate every four months.
