Salary Information: : $57,554.00 - $82,909.00 Annually, Top pay reached after 7 years.

Prior Experience: Previous continuous service as a Police Officer in any Illinois municipality, county, university, or state law enforcement agency for a minimum of two years.
Necessary Certifications: Meet the following criteria to be considered for placement on a Certified Police Officer Eligibility Register pursuant to 65 ILCS 5/10-2.1-6(h):
Additional Requirements: No felony convictions
Hiring Process: Written exam, oral interview, polygraph, background investigation. Subject to medical, drug, psychological.
Equipment: All equipment, uniforms, body armor, are provided by the department.
