The Greenhills Police Department is seeking to establish an eligibility list for the position of Police Officer.
All candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network, as well as complete the department application, located here.
Salary Information: Currently $22.50/hr. ($46,800/annual) to $27/hr. ($56,160/annual)

Department Overview: The department has 11 sworn and 2 nonsworn personnel, including a chief, lieutenant, sergeant, corporal, and patrol officers. The department has modern equipment, is CALEA accredited, and serves a low crime suburban community with supportive citizens.
Area Information: Greenhills is a northern suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio situated in an urban area with plenty of opportunity for police action but with quiet residential areas.

High School Grad/GED: High school or GED equivalent.
Valid OHIO State Driver's License: Yes - State of Residency
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: Corrected to 20/20
College: Not required
Academy Certification: Yes - Must hold a valid OPOTA peace officer certification prior to appointment.
Prior Experience: Not Necessary
Hiring Process: After certification on list, physical agility test, panel interview, polygraph, psychological exam, medical exam, drug screening.
Working Conditions: Greenhills Police Officers work a four-day on-duty, three-day off-duty schedule of ten-hour workdays with frequent weekends off. Officers have a generous package of scheduled salary increases, training opportunities, healthcare, holidays, vacation days, and other time off. Uniforms and equipment are provided.
