The Village of Plain City is accepting applications for Full Time Police Officer Position.
All candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through National Testing Network, as well as complete the department application and background information packet, located here by October 2, 2020 at 5pm.
Salary Information: $46,633.60 – $67,620.80 annually

Department Overview: The Plain City Police Department has established a very positive relationship with our citizens and community partners, and we are looking for officers who have a sense of community and can adhere to our policies and procedures and follow our mission statement.

High School Grad/GED: High School Diploma or GED
Valid OHIO State Driver's License: Must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License, valid car insurance, and
have no OVI or OMVUAC convictions.
Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Vision: 20/20 vision either uncorrected or corrected
Academy Certification: O.P.O.T.A Basic Peace Officer Certification
Additional Requirements: Applicants must pass an extensive background investigation, psychological and polygraph testing/CVSA, drug screen, written test, physical fitness test and medical exam. Applicant must never have been convicted of a felony or serious misdemeanor and no recreational drug use of any kind in the past (3) three years. Applicant must have no visible tattoos, hair neatly groomed; no piercings on males, females may have ears pierced. Other typical restrictions may apply.
