The Cathedral City Police Department is seeking to establish an ongoing eligibility list for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher I, with 4 immediate openings! All candidates must take the ECOMM National exam through National Testing Network.

Based on the information presented in the applications, along with NTN test scores, a limited number of candidates who possess qualifications most pertinent to the position will be invited to participate in the selection process.
NTN scores must have been issued within the last 6 months from the date when you submitted your application with the City.
The resulting eligibility list will be in effect for six(6) months.
Salary Information: $4,108.6970 - $5,378.1500 per month
Benefit Information: Medical, Dental, Vision coverage provided.
Department Information: The Cathedral City Police Department is currently approved for 52 sworn officers and an additional 24 non-sworn positions. The Police Department currently provides law enforcement services to 54,596 permanent residents with an additional 17,000 seasonal residents and visitors.

Ability to Read/Speak English: Required; Bilingual Spanish is desired.
Prior Experience: One(1) year of employment which has included regular contact with the public.
Necessary Certifications: Typing certification will also be required prior to scheduling an interview.
