Job Classification: Firefighter / Lateral Paramedic
The Snohomish County Fire District #4 is seeking to establish a hiring list for the position of Firefighter / Lateral Paramedic! All candidates must take the FireTEAM exam through National Testing Network to be considered further in the hiring process.
The District will be looking to gather a preliminary eligibility list in December 2020 for a hiring round at the beginning of 2021.
If selected for consideration, the District will provide and Candidates must complete then submit the District’s Employment Application and letter of interest.
Salary Information: Top step pay: FF/Medic 1st Class (36+ months) $8,848.67Additional pay available for approved degrees and certifications

Department Overview: Nestled just east of Everett, SCFD4 lies in the heart of Snohomish County. With an outstanding administrative and command staff, a great group of company officers, and a combination of full-time and part-time FF/EMT’s and FF/Paramedics, SCFD4 responds to all-hazards and emergency calls within a 55-square mile area. Having two rivers, 6 lakes, two highways, main East/West railroad tracks, and both vibrant city and rural areas, SCFD4 offers a fun, exciting, and fast-paced work environment. Operations staff at SCFD4 respond to structure fires, rescues, hazardous materials calls, wildland fires, and transport all ALS and BLS medical emergencies. Firefighters enjoy working on engines, brush trucks, ambulances, and a tender. SCFD4 offers a team-oriented environment and great training opportunities. We are one of the few agencies that has our own fire training facility, including Class-A live fire capabilities. Our people are great! At SCFD4, the sky is literally the limit!
