The Coos Bay Police Department is continuously recruiting for Reserce Police Officer positions.
Salary Information: $5090-$6496 per month DOQ; Qualified Lateral Officers will be eligible for a $5,000 hiring bonus; $2,500 upon hiring, $2,500 upon successful completion of the 18-month probationary period as well as up to $1,000 in qualified moving expenses.

Department Overview: Coos Bay Police Department's 39 employees (24 sworn, 15 non-sworn) work together to support our mission statement, "To Efficiently Provide Quality Law Enforcement Services to Our Community by Promoting a Safe Environment through a Police-Citizen Partnership, With an Emphasis on Mutual Trust, Integrity, Fairness, and Professionalism." The Coos Bay Police Department has three divisions: Patrol Division, Investigations Division, and Support Services. These divisions are comprised of the Patrol Team, K-9 Team, Community Resource Officer, School Resource Officer, Criminal Detectives, Narcotics Detectives, ERT, Evidence Technicians, and Records. Patrol shifts are 12 hours, 3 days on followed by 3 days off.
