The Urbana Fire Department, an ISO Class 1 department, is building an eligibility list for Firefighter-EMT that will be valid for up to two years. As vacancies for the position of Firefighter-EMT occur within the UFD, candidates will be selected from this list. If you wish to be considered for this position, you will need to successfully complete the selection process. Firefighters work a 24/48 rotating schedule (24 hours on, 48 hours off), 55.08 hours per week.

Hiring Process: The final eligibility list will be based on:
· Written Exam = 40%
· Oral Interview = 60%
· CPAT/Ladder Climb = Pass/Fail
