The Urbana Fire Department is building an eligibility list for Firefighter-EMT. Firefighters work one day (24-hours) on /two days off rotating schedule, 55.08 hours per week.

Age: At least 21 years of age but not exceeding 34 years of age by June 15, 2019, unless exempted by Illinois statute. Exemptions to the maximum age limit are allowed for military service and volunteer, paid-on-call, part-time and full-time firefighters meeting certain conditions.
US Citizen: Legally authorized to work in the U.S. (must meet I-9 requirements).
High School Grad/GED: Yes
Necessary Certifications: Must provide proof of completion of the Candidate Physical Ability Test (CPAT) and proof of passing the Ladder Climb Test with any licensed agency issued no earlier June 15, 2018.
