Job Classification: Court Detention Technician
The City of Aurora has opened testing for the position of Court Detention Technician. Position will remain open until vacancies are filled. All applicants must complete and pass the REACT test through National Testing Network before moving forward in the selection process.

City Information: The City of Aurora is the second-largest city in Illinois with a population of approximately 200,000. The City of Aurora is 46 square miles and is one of only three cities in the state to span four counties: Will, Dupage, Kane, and Kendall.
Salary Information: $30.25/hour, after 6 months $30.93/hour, after 1 year $31.63/hour, and annual increases thereafter, plus a full benefit package.
Benefit Information: This position is covered under the City of Aurora AFSCME Bargaining Unit labor agreement. AFSCME employees receive paid sick leave, personal leave, vacation, and paid City holidays.
