Candidates may only test to be considered for employment with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office once per calendar year.
Candidates are highly encouraged to send current test scores to the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, as the department has generously offered to cover the fee for candidates to transfer their NTN scores. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact NTN Candidate support at 855-821-3761.
**Candidates who are unable to pay the testing fee may submit a Fee Waiver Request through National Testing Network. Franklin County Sheriff's Office will review each request and make a determination on a case by case basis.**
Benefit Information: The Franklin County Sheriff's Office offers an attractive and competitive fringe benefits package.
Health Insurance: United Health Care administers the Health Insurance plan for physicians and hospital services covering employee and family.
Life Insurance: Benefit of $100,000.00 plus an option to purchase additional insurance at reduced rates. Coverage is available for a spouse and children also.
Vacation Time: Two (2) weeks each year for the first five (5) years; then advances in stages up to five (5) weeks after twenty (20) years.
Clothing and Equipment Allowance: Uniforms are provided at no cost to deputies, including uniform dry cleaning.
