We now seek Correctional Officers for the Wyoming State Penitentiary in Rawlins, WY, the Wyoming Honor Conservation Camp in Newcastle, WY, the Wyoming Honor Farm in Riverton, WY, the Wyoming Women’s Center in Lusk, WY and the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, WY.
DOC has contracted with National Testing Network (NTN) to perform video, written, and physical abilities testing for out of state candidates. National Testing Network is a great option for candidates not located in Wyoming who would like to apply for this position. US Citizen: Must be a United States Citizen.
High School Grad/GED: Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
Valid WYOMING State Driver's License: Must have the ability to obtain a valid Wyoming Driver's License.

Necessary Special Requirements: Applicants must successfully pass a series of pre-employment tests, background/reference check, medical and psychological evaluation, physical fitness exam, urinalysis drug screen and other pre-employment testing prior to appointment. Applicants must have the ability to work overtime as required; and ability to work on any shift, holidays and weekends.

Testing Process: The WDOC conducts a series of pre-employment testing to determine suitability for employment as a Correctional Officer. These tests include:
