City Information: Lake Havasu City, home of the historic London Bridge, is situated on the eastern shore of Lake Havasu on the Colorado River border of California and Arizona. Licensing & Training:
Firefighter Job Duties: Incumbent is responsible for providing emergency fire suppression and medical services and for responding to non-emergency situations. Duties may include: responding to rescue emergencies and hazardous materials emergencies; rescuing individuals from emergency situations; responding to fire and medical emergencies; performing skilled work in patient assessment, treatment and transportation; participating in continuous educational activities/classes; positioning and operating hoses; and performing Certified Emergency Paramedic (CEP) functions.
