General Description:
Skilled technical work in the City’s fire department in the field of fire suppression, prevention and emergency medical services. Work is performed under the general direction of a superior officer.

Prior Experience: Dually certified Firefighter/ Paramedic preferred

The City of Oldsmar is located at the top of Tampa Bay in Pinellas County Florida. Oldsmar Fire Rescue is a career department with 20 personnel operating from a single station. OFR currently operates an ALS Aerial Quint as well as an ALS Rescue vehicle. Oldsmar provides wildland fire protection to the Brooker Creek Preserve, an 8,000-acre county park located on the City’s north side. Apparatus is equipped with Wet Extrication Team equipment for rapid diver operations.
