The Oregon State Police is seeking Recruit Troopers for positions that are available at various locations throughout Oregon. As part of a Conditional Job offer, Recruits will be assigned a Duty Station in Oregon.

The OSP workforce is comprised of more than 1,400 sworn and professional staff in the areas of patrol, criminal investigation, forensic services, medical examiner, state fire marshal, gaming regulation, fish and wildlife regulation, public safety communications, and information management with a biennial budget of approximately $582 million total funds. Lateral Oregon Certified Police Officers with five (5) years of experience may receive preference in the interview process.

Operational needs of the agency will weigh heavily on the initial assignment of hired Troopers.
