Marion County Fire Rescue is accepting applications for Single-Certified Paramedic positions. This posting will remain open until positions are filled.
Selected candidates will be hired as full-time employees and assigned to a 24/48 schedule following successful completion of orientation and onboarding requirements.

Following successful completion of orientation, paramedics will work a 24-hour on-duty, 48-hour off-duty schedule (24 48).
Starting Salary:50,972 to 54,196 annually, depending on Kelly Day assignment

Selected candidates must successfully complete:
Continued employment is contingent upon maintaining required certifications and successfully completing probationary requirements.
A criminal history background investigation will be conducted in accordance with Florida Statute 112.011. Felony convictions may be disqualifying.
A pre-employment drug screen is required. Marion County Fire Rescue is a drug-free workplace.
A poor driving record or employment history may be considered undesirable but does not automatically remove a candidate from consideration.
Applicants must be tobacco-free for a minimum of twelve months prior to application and must remain tobacco-free throughout employment.
