Rural/Metro Fire Department Pima County Operations is currently hiring Firefighter EMTs and Paramedics. Candidates will be required to complete the National Testing Network FireTEAM test as well as have a valid CPAT card. The CPAT card will only be accepted if obtained within the last 12 months. Candidates must submit their resume at jobs.metrofire.com. Selected candidates will begin a transitional Fire Academy, which will begin on April 4, 2016.
Submissions for the Rural Metro Firefighter EMT & Firefighter Paramedic position must be received by February 4, 2016 at 5:00pm MST.

Salary Information: $37,500-Firefighter EMT $42,500 Firefighter Paramedic

Fire Fighter I & II, Hazardous Materials-Operations
State EMT or Paramedic
Current CPR/AED certification if applicant is an EMT
ACLS, PALS, and BLS certification required if applicant is a Paramedic

Specific Disqualifiers/Behaviors:
Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record in accordance with Rural/Metro policy
DUI within last 5 years is disqualifying
