The City of Geneva is seeking motivated and community-oriented individuals to join our team as Police Officers.

Salary: $80,613 (starting) - $120,841
The City is currently in negotiations with the FOP, and a new rate will be determined for May 1, 2026, which will apply to new hires.

Typical Qualifications
If hired, prior to completing probation, candidates must live within 25-miles (straight line distance) of the corporate limits of the City of Geneva.
Qualified candidates who successfully complete the pre-employment background check and are offered a position will attend the College of DuPage's Suburban Law Enforcement Academy's BA 26-03 which starts on Monday, August 24th.
The deadline to apply is Saturday, April 11, 2026. Candidates must submit their ducments and complete their examinations by the application deadline through NTN. Oral interviews with the City's Board of Fire and Police Commissioners are anticipated to be scheduled the first week of May.
