The South Pasadena Police Department is a diverse group of professionals fully dedicated to serving our community. SPPD has evolved into a progressive agency in order to provide exceptional law enforcement service.
Under the general supervision of a shift, section or unit supervisor, performs varied tasks in providing for the safety and protection of life and property within the community and in enforcing applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances. Performs these and other related law enforcement activities on an assigned tour of duty in a 24-hour a day, seven days-a-week service operation.

Academy Attendees must attach proof of enrollment at a California Basic P.O.S.T. Academy to your online application in order to begin the recruitment process. Prior to any conditional job offer you will need to submit a copy of your graduation certificate from a California Basic P.O.S.T Academy.
