Department Overview
Campbell County Fire Department is a "Combination Fire Department" consisting of 41 full-time staff, more than 45 part-time staff, and multiple support personnel. We provide structural and wildland fire response, rescue, first responder EMS and hazardous materials response services to the City of Gillette, Town of Wright and unincorporated Campbell County. Our department includes 10 structural fire stations (3 are staffed), a training center, a fleet maintenance facility and several rural wildland fire support stations. Campbell County Fire Department also hosts the State of Wyoming Regional Emergency Response Team One. Advanced life support and transport EMS is provided by the Campbell County Memorial Hospital.

GENERAL SUMMARY
Protects life and property from different hazards by means of fire suppression, rescue, medical, and hazmat training. Applies fire suppression methods to control and stop property damage, saves lives through rescue from fire or other hazardous environments, performs safety inspections, and performs public fire safety education to prevent fires. Responds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured. Participates in continued education and advanced training. Performs various administrative duties. Manages administrative accounts. Maintains a high level of physical fitness and endurance, maintains a healthy lifestyle and diet. Maintains apparatus and equipment. Performs at the advanced journey level in the class series.
