Salary Information
• $69,416.41 - $88,626.47 (2026)
Benefit Information
• 12 hour shifts
• Medical, Vision and Dental Insurance
• Yearly Clothing Allowance: $1,100+ (Additional $300 for certain specialty units)
• Yearly Professional Pay: $2,800
• Yearly College Education Bonus (2% - 4% of salary)

The Brook Park Police Department is a growing department looking for multiple qualified candidates for the position of Police Officer. The department offers exciting career opportunities and numerous ways to serve in various specialty units, including: Detective Bureau, K-9 unit, Evidence Technician, SWAT, Traffic/Motorcycle Unit, Accident Investigation Unit, Bicycle Unit, Drone Operator, and more. Job Requirements
Age: Must be at least age 21 at the time of appointment. No person is eligible to receive an original appointment when the person is thirty-five years of age or older. (Example: If you have turned 35 before appointment to the positon, your application becomes invalid). per O.R.C. 124.41
