Position Title: Entry Level Patrol Officer

The City of Richmond Heights is building an eligibility list for Entry Level Patrol Officers. Candidates must complete the NTN exam, Public Safety Self Assessment (PSSA), and Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ) and submit Agility Certification to move forward in the hiring process.

Salary Information: 2025 Starting salary $70,280 - 2024 maximum salary (96,960)

1.Completion of polygraph/background and psychological examination.
2.Must be certified by the Richmond Heights Civil Service Commission.
3.Interview with Police Chief, Police Lt., & Human Resources
4.Final selection/appointment made by Mayor/Safety Director

1 point for being RHTS Resident at time of application
1 point for full time related experience in Govt or industry 1 year min.
2 points for State Police/Firefighter Certification (200 hr)

2 points for having 2 years of Aux police officer Richmond Heights service
