Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue
The City of Tarpon Springs is currently accepting applications for the position of State of Florida certified Firefighter/EMT. Applicants must be willing to complete the Paramedic program.
SALARY RANGE:
· $53,272.42 - $75,953.99 Annually
· Includes Step Plan Advancement
All candidates must register with the National Testing Network (NTN) and successfully complete the following, with passing scores:
· Fire Team exams: Firefighter, PSSA 1, PSSA 2
· Candidate physical agility test (CPAT)
· Personal Health Questionnaire (PHQ)
QUALIFICATION CONSIDERATIONS:
Candidates will be paid as a Firefighter/EMT until the successful completion of the Paramedic program. They will be sponsored by the department to attend the Paramedic program which must be completed, with State and County certification, within 36 months from hire date.
