Job Classification: Full-time Patrol Officer (Hiring 3)
The Bellevue Police Department is currently looking to hire 3 Full-time Patrol Officers. Candidates must take the FrontLine National exam through NTN and complete the Candidate PHQ (Personal History Questionnaire). Any candidate with military service should submit a copy of their DD214 Form with their Application to receive an extra 20% added to their passing score. Any candidate with an Ohio Peace Officer Training Certificate will receive an extra 10% added to their passing score. No person may receive more than a total of 20% extra credit to any passing grade.
Candidates must also complete the Bellevue Police Department job application located here. All completed job applications, copies of Ohio Peace Officer Certificates and DD214 Forms must be uploaded to the Candidate Document Uploader.
Salary Information: Starting: $57,283.20 - $68,473.60, Depending on prior years of service.
Benefit Information: Health insurance, optical and dental insurance. Paid vacation (prior years of service carry over for time), comp time, sick time (120 hrs. a year), personal days, & holidays. Longevity pay (added hourly),and uniform allowance.

Department Overview: The department is currently staffing at 15 full-time officers, 2 part-time officers and 4 dispatchers. The department has its own drone team along with being part of a county team, has a School Resource Officer, Drug Task Force Agent and a K9. There are officers also assigned to the County Special Response Team.
