challenges within policing today. NTN’s program is comprised of two key elements that assist departments in achieving their hiring objectives: hiqh quality simulation
exams and an optimized test administration model to maximize candidate opportunity to test.
Over the past 35 years NTN has been an industry leader in the development of video simulation exams for public safety agencies. Our law enforcement specific exam
(FrontLine National) measures situational judgement and human relations skills to ensure future police officers have the necessary skills to properly assess and
analyze situations, display confidence in the field, work within a chain of command, and the ability to handle the authority of the position. FrontLine National also covers reading
and writing skills as required by CAPOST.
NTN's test administration model consists of test locations strategically located throughout the state, offering candidates thousands of testing sessions weekly and monthly.
In addition, NTN has more than 100 testing centers nationally for those departments wanting to recruit from other states. By offering nearly unlimited opportunities to test,
NTN has removed barriers associated with tradition testing models. Today, candidates can easily register online and pick a convenient location and time to test. The exam is
administered via computer in a professional setting with trained proctors. Test results are immediately sent to agencies of their choice through the NTN website. Please see
