The Marion Fire Department is currently hiring for the positions of Firefighter. This position requires FireTEAM and a valid NTN CPAT or NTN Firefighter Mile. All testing must be completed by the close date, June 21, 2021.
The Marion Fire Department requires the candidate PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. The PHQ must be completed or you may not be considered further in the process.

Salary Information: $36,114.62 - $68,080.90 + $0.90/hr for EMT-P

Department Information: The Marion Fire Department is an all hazard career fire department which handled 7,785 runs in 2020. 83% were EMS and we had 67 working structure fires during the year. Ours is a 63 member department which operates 2 engines, 1 quint, 3 medics and a command car from 3 stations.
Area Information: The City of Marion is the seat of Marion County and is located about 50 miles north of down town Columbus, Ohio's State Capital. Marion offers many different amenities, including newer schools, many parks and a very nice aquatics center.

Necessary Certifications: State of Ohio Firefighter II and EMT-P Certification are preferred but not required prior to application. If not certified, new employees are required to become certified at the city's expense.
