The Castle Rock Fire Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Firefighter/Paramedic to join our highly motivated team. All candidates must complete a Town of Castle Rock application, located here, as well as submit a completed FireTEAM test score to the Castle Rock Fire and Rescue Department through the National Testing Network no later than March 5, 2021 at: https://www.nationaltestingnetwork.com/publicsafetyjobs/
In order for a candidate to progress through the application process, they must satisfactorily complete an interview process, criminal background check, physical exam, polygraph and psychological exam prior to commencing employment. Depending on previous academy and/or career firefighter experience, a full 16-week academy may or may not be required. This will be determined prior to your conditional job offer.
Preference points will be awarded for any of the following: career paid firefighter experience, qualifying military service, and previous career paid law enforcement experience of four or more years. There will be a place to disclose this information on the Town’s job application, and you will be required to provide proof of eligibility.

Working under the general direction of the shift Fire Lieutenant, the Firefighter/Paramedic performs emergency and non-emergency services for the Town of Castle Rock and surrounding areas in a manner consistent with the stated values of the organization. The current Firefighter/Paramedic pay range is $25.70 to $35.98 /hr, plus an excellent benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement, life insurance, paid leave, and a wellness program.
