The Redmond Fire Department is currently establishing an Entry Level Fire Fighter eligibility list.
This application requires a passing score from National Testing Network (NTN) FireTEAM and a Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT). You MUST have a current CPAT within twelve (12) months of the application closing to be considered for employment. The closing date for this position is August 16, 2020. All testing must be scheduled and completed by that date. Candidates are required to complete a Personal History Questionnaire (PHQ), accessible through your NTN candidate account, and submit an employment application through the City website.
NTN suggests completing the PHQ as soon as possible so as not to cause any delays in consideration by the Department. The City of Redmond requires an employment application be submitted through the website at www.redmond.gov/jobs by 11:59 PM on the closing date.
Candidates who do not provide a current CPAT and complete both a City of Redmond application and NTN PHQ are disqualified from the process.

Salary Information: $6,210.00 - $8,499.00 Monthly$74,520.00 -$101,988.00 Annually

Line personnel work a 48/96 schedule (two days on and four days off) and all Firefighters are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT). Redmond Fire is one of five Paramedic service providers in King County. After three years, Redmond Firefighter/EMTs who meet the minimum qualifications have the opportunity to participate in a selection process to become a certified King County Paramedic.Department Philosophy: The Redmond Fire Department strives for excellence in service to our customers.
