Coconino County Sheriff's Office is actively hiring for the position of Deputy Sheriff Recruit and has several vacancies. We are accepting and reviewing applications on a continuous basis.

Salary Information: Starting pay is $53,451 annually with an increase after academy graduation to $55,997, another after the completion of FTO to $57,676 and another on one year anniversary of academy graduation to $59,407.
Laterals range between $55,997 and $66,824
Also participation in our Law Enforcement Incentive Plan which gives officers the opportunity to receive a payout after 2 years of employment or use that payout for Home Purchase Assistance after one year of employment.

Flagstaff is home to Northern Arizona University and Coconino County Community College giving us many educational opportunities. We are also home to Lowell Observatory, where Pluto was first discovered.
Many metropolitan areas are within reasonable driving distance. Phoenix is a 2 hour drive south, Las Vegas a 4 hour drive, and places such as Rocky Point, Mexico and the coast of southern California are approximately an 8 hour drive from Flagstaff.
