Salary Information: Starting pay - $56,253 per year

Department Overview: Maumee Police Division includes 24 patrol officers, four detectives, one D.A.R.E. officer, two school resource officers, one victim service officer, eight sergeants, two lieutenants and a Chief. Uniform patrol cover an area of approximately 10.6 square miles.
Area Information: The City of Maumee is located in Lucas County in Northwest Ohio. Situated along the Maumee River just off the Ohio Turnpike and I475. Maumee owns 14 parks totaling nearly 126 acres including a city swimming pool, baseball and soccer fields. Maumee has an outstanding school system.

Necessary Certifications: The City of Maumee Police Division requires each candidate to have a current Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy Certificate. Copies of current OPOTA certification, College Transcripts, Birth Certificate and Driver’s License.
Schooling Prior and Post Hiring: Must have an associate degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university. The minimum equivalent is 96 quarter hours or 61 semester hours.
