The Miami County Sheriff's Office is currently building an ongoing eligibility list for Corrections Officer.
The department requires the candidate PHQ. You can access the questionnaire through your candidate account. The PHQ must be completed by the time we receive your test results or you may not be considered further in the process.

Salary Information: Starting pay is $19.85 and $20.43 an hour depending on the individuals experience. Top pay after five years is $23.00 an hour.

Schooling Prior and Post Hiring: Successfully pass field training, Ohio corrections academy and probationary period of 1-year.
Felony, Criminal Activity Disqualifiers: A person may be ineligible to receive an original appointment as a corrections officer if he/she has a criminal record
Drug Use Disqualifiers:
