Candidates passing the NTN must be available for the physical test on June 13 or June 14 AND the complete the PRADCO assessment and Personal History Questionnaire by June 26, 2020. Salary Information: $26.89 - $47.00 Hourly$2,151.20 - $3,760.00 Biweekly$4,660.93 - $8,146.67 Monthly$55,931.20 - $97,760.00 Annually

The Police Officer is responsible for law enforcement and the implementation of crime prevention measures, the apprehension of criminals, and the protection of life and property. Duties include but are not limited to: responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service as a direct service provider of police and other emergency services to the public; responding, reporting and conducting preliminary investigations of crimes and traffic crashes.
Age: 21 years of age or older at time of application and under 35 years of age at time of appointment, unless you have a previous appointment as a law enforcement officer.

Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes
Residency: 60 mile radius of police headquarters (within six months of employment)
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree and/or valid police certificate preferred, but not required. The Candidate must successfully pass a written test, physical fitness test and oral board exam. A thorough background investigation will be completed, including but not limited to a truth verification test, drug test, psychological and medical evaluation.
