Testing Open for the Position of Police Officer:
Monday, March 31, 2025 through Wednesday, April 30, 2025
The Civil Service Commission of Upper Dublin Township hereby announces the commencement of testing for the position of Patrol Officer with the Upper Dublin Township Police Department.
WRITTEN ONLINE EXAM: The first step of the testing process is the written examination that will be administered through the National testing Network (NTN). to register with NTN and schedule a test, go to National Testing Network's website and select 'Find Jobs, then "Law Enforcement Jobs" and sign up for the Upper Dublin Police Department's written exam.
Before signing up for the written test, the applicant must affirm that they qualify to become an Upper Dublin Police Officer, Applicants must:
PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST: Applicants who earn a score of 70% on the written portion of the examination will be notified that they are proceeding to the second portion of the process, the Physical Agility Test. Those applicants only need to participate in one of the three (3) dates below. The standards for completing the agility examination are listed on the Municipal Police Officers' Education & Training Commission website using the 30th percentile.
The Physical Agility test is scheduled for 8 am on the dates listed below and will be held at Upper Dublin High School at 800 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034. The three (3) examination dates are:
ORAL EXAM: Following the physical agility test, the top 50 candidates (including tie scores) will be invited to participate in an Oral Examination. The oral examination is scheduled from May 27th through May 31st, 2025. The Oral Examination will be held at the Upper Dublin Township Police Department, 520 Virginia Drive, Fort Washington, PA 19034. Once this comprehensive examination is completed, the applicants will be required to pass background, physical and psychological examination before being offered a conditional offer of employment.
Please note that entry-level applicants/candidates are NOT required to have completed Pennsylvania's ACT 120 Municipal Police Officer's Training program before receiving a conditional offer of employment.
