The City of Hialeah Fire Department is currently hiring for Certified Firefighters/Paramedics! All candidates must complete a City of Hialeah Certified Firefighter/Paramedic employment application, located here, after testing and submit it in person along with copies of all required documents to the Human Resources Department located at 501 Palm Ave, 3rd Floor, Hialeah, FL 33010.
All candidates must complete FireTEAM and CPAT testing through National Testing Network. All CPAT tests must be valid, completed within 12 months of the date of application.
The City of Hialeah requires the PSSA. You can access the PSSA through your candidate account. The PSSA must be completed or you will not be considered further in the process.
Candidates selected to move forward in the process will be contacted by the Department at a later time.

Submit the application and documentation to the Human Resources Department located at 501 Palm Ave, 3rd Floor, Hialeah, FL 33010 Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.mPlacement on the eligibility list will be based on a combined score of FireTEAM (written examination) (70%) and oral panel interview (30%). Applicant must also successfully pass all other requirements throughout the selection process.
